Because the tip section is the final point of contact that releases the lure, eliminating micro-wobble and blank twist was essential to guarantee tight target grouping.

Currentes98S
A long-length version of the 9.8ft Currentes.
By meticulously crafting the 8.2ft rod, we focused on dramatically improving its long-casting performance while maintaining the accuracy, casting feel, sensitivity, and lifting power of the 8.2ft model. The system is designed to be assembled into a 9.8ft rod by adding a #4 section to the 8.2ft rod. By shifting the point of application of force on the rod when casting the same lure, it is now possible to receive the lure's force across the entire blank and convert that force into a counterforce.
The Currentes 98S is designed to maximize the rod's overall rebound force when casting jigs and sinking pencils weighing 28g or more from the surf. The meticulous attention to detail by testers and designers in refining this aspect is what contributes to the Currentes 98S's long-casting performance.
This long rod's balance is achieved through a variable balancer system, which you'll notice feels incredibly light and agile in your hand. It will become an extension of your body, allowing you to cast for hours without losing focus.

Sensitivity and power
Sensitivity is a crucial element for anglers in gathering information about what's happening underwater. The blank is constructed primarily from high-modulus carbon. Unnecessary elements have been removed so that anglers can concentrate on sensitivity when holding the rod. Torzite guides are used extensively to pursue weight reduction. By adopting an adjustable balancer weight, anglers can choose the optimal setting for their individual needs in both 8.2ft and 9.8ft models.
And finally, lifting power. TRANSCENDENCE is developed with both domestic and international markets in mind, so lifting power to attract fish is a crucial element. Balancing this lifting power with long-distance casting performance is one of the challenges. Rods with high lifting power tend to have reduced long-distance casting performance. The #5 section is a common section for both the 8.2ft and 9.8ft models. The development took a long time because designing this section was very difficult. We were able to achieve a casting distance and lifting power that satisfied our testers.
