The Khareef X8 was engineered with a single objective: to build the ultimate offshore casting rod. Conceived under the guiding principle that a single blank should possess the capability to confront any monster-class pelagic on Earth, this ambitious project was born.

At the core of its development was a demanding structural benchmark: a 60° fracture strength exceeding 30 kg. Unprecedented in multi-piece rod engineering, this figure defines the unyielding design philosophy behind the Khareef X8.

Purpose-built to land giant trevally (GT), trophy yellowtail kingfish (Hiramasa), and cow yellowfin tuna, its true essence lies in harmonizing extreme brute strength with refined, supple operability.

During rigorous field testing in its 8.2 ft configuration, the blank successfully subdued a 200 kg+ Pacific bluefin tuna in a 90-minute solo stand-up fight. Conquering an apex pelagic of this caliber proves its capability across virtually every offshore monster scenario. For years, the industry assumed multi-piece pack rods were too fragile for giants. Since our founding, TRANSCENDENCE has chased the ambition to shatter that misconception—and the Khareef X8 is the physical realization of that mission.
