The Big Game Rod
Requirements for catching a Memorial Fish!
Memorial fish leave an indelible mark on an angler's life. It was specifically to confront these once-in-a-lifetime trophies that the Enhance65B+ was developed—a big-game baitcasting rod that seamlessly transforms between 6.5ft and 7.5ft.
Rigorously tested and perfected in Tokyo Bay—Japan's premier proving ground for big-bait seabass—the resulting setup goes far beyond domestic waters, evolving into a true monster-class rod capable of taking on apex freshwater predators across the globe.
While tailor-made for throwing oversized seabass lures, the Enhance65B+ pairs a subtle, forgiving tip with a relentless butt section. This exceptional versatility makes it an absolute weapon against world-class species like Papuan bass, trophy Murray cod, and giant peacock bass.
Pinpoint casting accuracy for heavy lures, raw lifting power to wrench fish away from heavy structure, and an ergonomic grip layout engineered to prevent energy loss—this combination delivers performance on any waters worldwide. It is not simply built to chuck heavy baits. The Enhance65B+ executes the core demands of big-game fishing at the highest level: hooking firmly, tearing fish from cover, and absorbing massive headshakes.

COMPASS OF YOUR DREAM
Basic combination
Through exhaustive length testing and meticulous fine-tuning, we ultimately settled on the dual configurations of 6.5ft and 7.5ft for the Enhance65B+. Designed to cover everything from low-profile boat fishing to long-distance shore casting, this single system unlocks every tactical possibility when throwing oversized swimbaits and giant baits.

In short boat-game settings—such as big-bait seabass charters or overseas boat expeditions—the 6.5ft length (Enhance65B) is absolute perfection. It allows for aggressive lure manipulation without the tip repeatedly slapping the water's surface. We also paid extreme attention to the rear grip length, ensuring it tucks comfortably under the arm to handle brutal fights with giant fish and to absorb the strain of full-power casts with lures over 100g.
Rods that are merely stiff inflict immense physical fatigue, making it nearly impossible to cast heavy lures all day. The Enhance features a blank that bends dynamically throughout the entire section, allowing you to cast 3oz+ lures like the Megadog effortlessly for hours on end—while easily loading up for 2oz class offerings like the Big Bandit.
Furthermore, when targeting exotic overseas predators, pinpoint casting accuracy is non-negotiable. The supple tip section significantly tightens casting loops for exact placement, while simultaneously delivering refined, stress-free feedback and action when working deep-diving crankbaits and large swimbaits.

Enhance75B
Through relentless field testing, we arrived at the absolute conclusion that 7.5ft is the ultimate length for casting big baits all day long. Rod length directly impacts angler fatigue, casting distance, and overall performance when launching giant baits in the 200g class.
To throw heavy lures for hours on end, a rod must drastically minimize physical strain and maintain angler focus, all while delivering maximum casting distance—meeting every single demand at the highest level. 7.5ft proved to be the exact sweet spot that balances all of these elements.
Achieving a variable-length system without sacrificing performance in either configuration required a massive investment of development time. It isn't just about comfortably casting oversized lures; the rod is engineered holistically to drive hooks home, provide the necessary flex to prevent giant plugs from tearing free during high-stakes fights, and deliver non-negotiable back-bone power to keep trophy fish from taking control.

The importance of turning
When targeting big-bait seabass or exotic monster fish with PE (braided) line, using a traditional bass rod often creates a mismatch. Standard bass rods are engineered with monofilament or fluorocarbon in mind. Because these lines stretch during a cast, standard bass big-bait rods are built extra stiff—if both the line and the rod give way, casting distance collapses.
The Enhance65B+, on the other hand, was developed specifically for PE mainlines. The blank loads fully and smoothly on the backcast, storing energy naturally so that anyone can cast heavy lures with minimal effort and maximum efficiency.
This supple, deep-bending curve yields massive advantages during chaotic fights with powerful gamefish. On overseas expeditions, what you truly need from a rod is depth of power—a progressive curve that works with you. We have seen far too many overly rigid rods fail in the field; they cannot leverage their own lifting power and force the angler to absorb the fish's violent surges directly.
A rod that bends deeply absorbs sudden turns and violent thrashes, keeping constant, unbroken pressure on the line to significantly boost your overall landing rate.

Tip section to prevent the hook from tearing out of the mouth
A major cause of lost fish when fishing big baits is the hook tearing through the fish's mouth. Conventional big bait rods are often extremely stiff all the way to the tip. This rigidity exerts excessive force during hooksets and violent headshakes, frequently leading to pulled hooks.
The Enhance features a powerful butt section that comfortably casts 200g lures, paired with a flexible tip section that smoothly follows the movement during both casting and fighting. This responsive design ensures you can reliably convert those precious big bait bites into landed catches.
Furthermore, it easily full-casts lures like DRT’s Ghost, while possessing the versatile power reserve to handle giant baits like the Frenzy.
A rod that can compete on a global level.
TRANSCENDENCE boasts a proven lineup of globally tested rods, including the LB510, PC62B, and MSX. The addition of the Enhance 65B+ expands your tactical options even further, empowering anglers to take an aggressive, commanding approach in extreme environments.
This rod is uniquely engineered to handle targets with devastating single runs—such as Papuan bass and giant snakehead (Toman)—as well as species known for violent headshakes and sudden line slack, like Akame, Nile perch, and barramundi. The tip section smoothly absorbs erratic thrashing and keeps continuous tension, while the massive butt power allows you to firmly take control of the fight.
Introducing a new power class never before seen in the TRANSCENDENCE lineup, the Enhance 65B+ unlocks limitless potential depending on your reel and line setup. Designed from the ground up to conquer true giants, this rod is built to help you chase and land the trophy fish of your dreams.

Power & Action
In developing the Enhance 65B+, we tested and refined countless carbon sheet combinations and blank designs. Through this rigorous process, we discovered the ultimate configuration—one that maximizes blank performance, delivers exceptional big bait casting distance, and remains fully responsive to subtle lure manipulation.
TRANSCENDENCE designs rods not just for domestic waters, but for the diverse and demanding targets found across the globe. Conquering these environments requires tapping into the raw potential of the blank. Experience the ultimate blank engineering born from our extensive global expedition experience.
Furthermore, while our traditional Trans System altered rod length by inserting an extension section, the Enhance 65B+ takes a new approach to achieve lighter weight and greater structural strength without relying on spigot ferrules. This new system includes interchangeable butt sections of different lengths, allowing you to adjust the rod length by 1 ft. Eliminating the internal spigot ferrules sheds dead weight and allows a seamless taper across the entire blank, resulting in a significantly stronger yet remarkably smooth and supple rod.

Guide setting
Engineered to conquer giant predators, the Enhance 65B+ ensures exceptional line clearance even when running heavy setups like PE #8 paired with a 100 lb shock leader. Every guide on the Enhance 65B+ is equipped with high-grade Fuji SiC-S rings.
We meticulously optimized the guide setting to achieve superb rod balance across diverse targets while minimizing knot friction during high-speed casts. Naturally, all guides feature heavy-duty double-foot frames. Built to withstand external impacts and the rigors of long-distance transit, this rugged guide setup provides complete peace of mind against frame deformation and ring damage during international expeditions.

Not just stiff, but a strong and comfortable rod
Masayuki Yamane
The true catalyst behind the development of the Enhance 65B was the legendary Papuan bass. Driven by an obsession to go toe-to-toe with its explosive strikes and punishing raw power, the Enhance 65B was forged.
Many believe power simply equates to stiffness. However, when fighting brutal fish and casting heavy lures, true power lies in a rod's ability to bend under load. A progressively bending blank works as an extension of the angler—absorbing massive shock, assisting during grueling fights, and loading deeply to maximize casting distance.
During development, we tested and combined blank sections across various models, including the Ghibli 80S, LateBloomings 510, and Eta Quattro. Through rigorous field testing, we realized that with heavy PE lines, an overly stiff or hyper-crisp rod cannot fully unleash blank performance. By engineering the taper centered around the proven Ghibli 80S blank structure, the current Enhance 65B was born.
The Enhance 65B comfortably works lures up to 200 g with a maximum casting capacity of 250 g. This tenacious, high-torque blank absorbs violent surges and shifts control decisively into the angler's favor.
Furthermore, we engineered the tip with just enough supple flex to launch 25 g-class lures smoothly even on heavy PE #6 line. This allows anglers to cast standard 12–18 cm floating minnows with effortless accuracy and superior distance, unlocking more opportunities in tight, high-pressure target zones.
In 2025, I had the opportunity to target Papuan bass in the field and landed a 12 lb specimen. While not a true giant for the species, even a fish this size displays a level of raw, destructive power rarely experienced in Japanese waters. The Enhance 65B handled the violent battle with absolute composure, bringing the fish to hand without issue. My next goal is to face a true monster over 24 lb—and prove without a shadow of a doubt the validity and pedigree of the rod I built.

Enhance65B+ for me
Yusuke Takada
For me, the Enhance 65/75 is the culmination of our engineering—a truly perfected rod that has consistently delivered world-class monster fish in recent years. Built to handle the extreme demands of monster hunting with heavy PE #6–8 lines and 100–130 lb shock leaders, it seamlessly combines a progressive, supple bend from tip to belly with a muscular butt section engineered to halt brutal surges. In high-stakes expeditions where total faith in your tackle is mandatory, the Enhance provides unwavering confidence.
At the same time, its exceptional castability—effortlessly launching 4 to 8 oz class big baits and giant baits to extreme distances—makes it a definitive "go-to" weapon for both black bass and seabass trophy hunting. Despite its heavy-lure capability and long-distance reach, the rod remains remarkably nimble, minimizing angler fatigue even during all-day casting sessions. It strikes a rare harmony between two conflicting demands: a flexible tip that solidly pins turning, swipe bites, and immense stopping power to shut down brutal monster runs, drastically reducing lost fish after the hookset. This impeccable balance embodies the ideal rod engineered to face true giants head-on.
