While conventional wisdom deemed it impossible, our uncompromising commitment to realize this vision drove the development of the LL83GTS Rev3.0.

Engineered to target diverse apex predators up to the 100 kg class, the rod leverages our proprietary Multi Division Design (mD2) system—an advanced architecture unique to multi-piece rods that optimizes carbon materials and structural tapers across every individual section. This design philosophy allows the blank to seamlessly manage targets ranging from sub-10 kg game fish to 100 kg pelagic giants. By strategically dividing the blank into optimal sections, we unlocked hyper-refined tuning and achieved the ideal harmony between high-performance functionality and extreme structural durability.

What is difference between Rev.2 and Rev.3?

The inaugural Rev 1.0 was configured with a more supple, deep-bending taper compared to standard offshore blanks, tailored to deliver an exhilarating fight against international freshwater monsters.

In contrast, the Rev 3.0 (and its refined evolution, Rev 3.1) decisively reinforces its identity as a dedicated offshore casting platform. Shifting the core focus from freshwater giants to aggressive saltwater pelagic games and dynamic artificial lure presentations, we substantially amplified the overall blank power. The blank achieves marked weight reduction paired with enhanced structural muscle, delivering effortless casting cadence and unyielding control during high-pressure fights. The guide system has also been overhauled, now featuring high-performance Fuji RV guides for tangle-free, ultra-smooth line flow.

Leveraging the distinct engineering advantages of multi-piece architecture, we strategically altered the carbon modulus and resin ratios across every individual section. This optimizes both ballistic casting distance and brutal lifting torque, creating an exceptionally versatile tool dialed for an expansive roster of global game fish.

During intense battles with giant trevally (GT) and trophy yellowtail kingfish (Hiramasa), the blank delivers a pronounced increase in stability and angler reassurance compared to Rev 2.0. The butt section possesses the refined blank power and elastic recovery to fluidly absorb violent dives from GT, trophy kingfish, and Pacific bluefin tuna while generating natural, progressive lifting torque.

The 1st and 2nd sections are engineered for nuanced lure manipulation and long-distance casting mechanics, while the 3rd and 4th sections are dedicated entirely to lifting performance. When locked into a heavy fish, fighting loads transfer directly into the 3rd and 4th sections. These lower sections bend progressively under pressure while exhibiting tenacious backbone—specialized to peel heavy fish off the bottom and lift them to the surface.
