However, dedicated big bait specialists will instantly recognize the massive strategic advantage of presenting heavy baits on a rod with an ML-class sensitive tip, even factoring in the nuanced casting stroke required.

To achieve this, we dialed in a precise guide layout capable of translating the faintest micro-vibrations as fluorocarbon or monofilament lines tap against the guide rings. This razor-sharp transmission naturally benefits other techniques as well, providing heightened feedback for light-sinker rockfish games where bottom contact sensitivity is paramount.

Modern blank technology has unlocked materials that offer high elasticity while bending deeply and cleanly under load. Frankly, we see zero drawbacks to a high-modulus blank that truly flexes. Even with moving baits and aggressive hard-plugging—tactics historically dominated by low-to-mid-modulus rods—the tip and belly flex smoothly, making lure manipulation effortless while preventing fish from bouncing off shallow bites. Better yet, because of the high-modulus construction, its elastic recovery is instantaneous once loaded. This delivers a remarkable dynamic: it absorbs subtle strikes without repelling the fish, then drives the hook home automatically using its immense restoring power.
The same principle applies during casting: the blank loads smoothly under the lure’s weight and swing momentum, then snaps back with immense restoring force to propel the lure effortlessly. Naturally, the rod tip dampens post-cast wobble almost instantly, dramatically tightening your casting accuracy. In real-world fishing terms, both casting and hooksetting become remarkably effortless. Furthermore, because high-modulus blanks remain crisp until loaded, sensitivity when working lightweight soft plastics is exceptionally sharp. Guide setting
The guide train is one of the most meticulously engineered components on the rod. Our development criteria were uncompromising: it had to pass PE #3 braid paired with a 40 lb shock leader seamlessly to withstand brutal fights against exotic game fish, transmit micro-vibrations from slack fluorocarbon lines, and maximize casting distance. Harmonizing all three demands into a single layout was an immense engineering challenge.
Prioritizing leader knot clearance naturally requires larger inner ring diameters, but oversized guides fail to transmit the subtle line chatter of slack fluorocarbon. Furthermore, preserving the rod's agile, featherlight handling demanded the lightest hardware possible. Our breakthrough was equipping the top seven running guides with flagship Titanium-frame Torzite single-foot guides.
Compared to SiC rings of the same outer dimension, Torzite rings offer a significantly larger inner diameter. Paired with ultra-light titanium frames, they deliver effortless knot clearance alongside crisp, featherweight handling. Choosing single-foot guides was equally deliberate—beyond weight reduction, minimizing thread wrap length preserves the blank's raw, uninhibited bending curve. By fine-tuning the spacing of these titanium Torzite guides, we ultimately exceeded our original goals: the layout smoothly clears up to 60 lb shock leaders while retaining razor-sharp fluorocarbon sensitivity. The result is a universal guide setting built to conquer everything from burning high-speed retrieves to dead-slow crawls across any line type

We are currently field-testing a dedicated short rear grip for the Pulchra 62B. Combining this piece drops the overall rod down into the nimble 4 ft class. Inserting a guideless extension blank completely transforms its character once again, yielding a featherlight setup engineered for pinpoint casting accuracy.
It was with this short-grip Pulchra that I smashed my personal peacock bass record in Guyana—landing a massive 67 cm, 11.5 lb trophy. Battling a powerhouse fish of that caliber on such a compact setup speaks volumes to the sheer depth of the Pulchra’s blank capacity.

This is an additional extension variable part for the PC62B #4. By connecting it to #4 or #3S, the length can be changed to 6.3 or 8.3 ft. By connecting it to PC52B #3S, it can be transformed into a rod that is completely different from the standard 62B.

This is the PC62#GL, a long grip version of the PC62B. This grip length was released to make casting big baits and other situations requiring long casts more comfortable.
